The Last Taste of Summer
I'm a bit belated on this post, Summer faded away months ago... [Better late than never!] We had a good crop of tomatoes this year - a mix of heirlooms, grape and standard. At the end of the season they were ripe for the picking and ready for some canning :)
Arrabbiata Sauce & Bloody Mary Mix
Canning takes a while, especially if you have a few batches to run through. But the final product that you can enjoy in the winter is worth it. My arrabbiata sauce was a hit and turned out delicious. But my bloody mary mix came out a little thick. Next year I'll try to thin it out even more.
